DIAGEO DISGRACE

Scottish American Society

DIAGEO closed it's Kilmarnock plant.  The original location of Johnnie Walker.  It's gone.

Diageo has done as they threatened. They closed the Johnnie Walker plant in Kilmarnock. I have personally made a vow to never down another Diageo owned beverage. This is a difficult vow to keep since it includes such famous brands as Guiness, V-O Brandy, Dom Perignon & Moet champagnes, Hennesey cognac, Gilbey's , Gordons, and Tanqueray gin, Baileys & Godiva liquers (& others), José Cuervo Golden Margarita, Smirnoff Ice & Smirnoff, Captain Morgan Rum, Don Julio and José Cuervo tequila, and the following whisky/whiskies:

Bell's, Benmore, Buchanan's, Bulleit Bourbon,Bushmills, Black & White, Cardhu, Crown Royal, Crown Royal XR, Dimple/ Pinch,George Dickel, Haig, and the following classic malts: Caol Ila, Cardhu, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Dalwhinnie, Glen Elgin, Glen Ord, Glenkinchie, Knockando, Lagavulin, Oban, Royal Lochnagar, Talisker

Plus the following wines:

Barton & Guestier

Beaulieu Vineyard

Blossom Hill

Justerini & Brooks

Sterling Vineyards
