INEXPENSIVE KILTS & ACCESSORIES
Bill Kennedy points out that there are some absolutely incredible bargains on Scottish kilts and accessories on E-Bay.  We checked and noted that some brand new kilts, made to order, can cost as little as $59.  The cheapest we saw them in Scotland was the equivalent of about $180.  If you want to wear a kilt to events this season, you can put off buying a formal Scottish jacket by renting a short tux jacket from any local firm.  Most carry them.

TARTAN FABRIC
If you wish to order tartan fabric, we discovered a wonderful local firm in Selkirk.  They will make any tartan to order if they don't have it in stock. The address is:  D.C. Dalgliesh Ltd., Dunsdale Mill, Selkirk, Scotland TD7 5EB.  Tel.:  01750 20781, Fax:  01750 20502.  Alternatively, you may be able to e-mail them: Kenneth@dcdalgliesh.co.uk

You can see how high the dark colored wooden case of my Baldwin Studio piano is; the weighted piano lamp shines down to read music; the piano stool and the top of one of the cushions on top of the second cushion.

BALDWIN STUDIO PIANO FOR SALE
Because of all of my medical problems, I haven't been able to keep up playing my beloved Baldwin Studio Piano. I checked with a Music Store and found that they had one for around $1,600. Mine is the type used at Akron U. for their music students in Guzetta Hall. It has large rollers, rather, than just tiny rollers like a spinet piano. The price all totaled would be $1,800 because that would include a lot of music which a beginner piano teacher could use. Or a church might be interested because it is easy to roll around on hard surfaces. That would also include the weighted lamp, because the longer the strings of the piano the better it sounded like a small grand piano when purchased) an being so high that type piano lamp is needed to the light shines down over the music. The piano bench lid lifts to store some music and I also purchased two matching look like velvet but different colored cushions. One is a dark cantelope color and the other a medium colored green.
