Frances Acar has started a new Scottish Country Dancing group in Kent at the
Christ Episcopal Church. Classes are every Friday, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. She also is seeking new students for

ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION DRILL TEAM

The
Royal Canadian Legion Drill Team appears wearing the Royal Stewart Tartan and marches to the tunes of many local bagpipe bands.
They have won numerous awards for precision drill competitions.
They have been honored to appear in the following parades: The Lorain International Celebration,
the Akron Soap Box Derby, the Cleveland, Ohio, 500, the Milan Ohio Melon Festival, the Vermillion Ohio Wooly Bear Festival,
the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day celebration, the Vermillion Festival of the Fish, the Akron Christmas parade and were privileged
to march with 500 pipebands from all over the world at the New York City Tartan Day parade.
They have made numerous appearances over the years including a performance at E.J. Thomas Hall
in Akron showcasing International Nationality Night. They were in the receiving line when Prince Charles of England
arrived at Cleveland Airport for a brief, rare visit.
This drill team has been an annual part of the Ohio Scottish Games in Wellington, Ohio. They
continue to promote their heritage throughout northern Ohio, Western Michigan, and Windsor Canada appearing at Canadian Legion
Convention events and for other veteran and service organizations in their own district. For additional information,
